BUSAN, South Korea, Sept. 3, 2026 - Safeline Co., Ltd., a developer of AI-powered pressure-sensor solutions for sleep analysis and care applications, announced that it has received a commendation from the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City during Healthcare Week 2026, held at BEXCO in Busan.
The commendation recognized the company’s contributions to the development of the senior-friendly bioindustry, technology advancement and regional economic activity.
Safeline develops Sleep-Pressura, an AI-based sleep posture analysis solution that uses pressure sensors to analyze sleeping posture, body movement and pressure distribution. The system is designed to operate without requiring users to wear additional devices or rely on camera-based monitoring.
The company is expanding the application of its pressure-sensor technology beyond sleep analysis to support older adults and individuals who require care. Safeline is currently advancing functions including bed-status monitoring, posture-change analysis and bed-exit detection for potential use in healthcare, senior-care and residential environments.
Safeline is also broadening its pressure-sensor product portfolio with smart cushions and sensor mats designed for posture analysis. The company plans to integrate data generated across these products as it develops a broader platform spanning sleep, digital healthcare and AgeTech applications.
Potential areas of application include hospitals, long-term care facilities, residential settings, hospitality properties and wellness environments.
